The Ann Arbor Jazz Workshop showcases the living tradition of jazz music. From seasoned master musicians to budding high school and college jazz students, the A2 Jazz Workshop offers a place to meet, perform, network, and appreciate the deep well of jazz musicians in and around Ann Arbor. Bob Sweet is a jazz drummer based in Southeast Michigan. Recent Bob Sweet Trio/Quartet gigs have featured Tad Weed, Kurt Krahnke, Andrew Bishop, Max Bowen, Aidan Cafferty, Ingrid Racine, Tim Haldeman, Will Wood, Kenji Lee, Jordan Rattner, Daniel Woodward Bennett, and Josef Deas.

Other performances in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area over the years include RJ Spangler’s PD9 and quartet/quintet, Gary Schunk, Ron Brooks, Sun Messengers, Juanita McCray, Faruq Z. Bey, Larry Smith, Roy Brooks’ Aboriginal Percussion Choir, Bill Heid, and more.
